We offer all year Camargue riding courses, Working equitation and Ethology, always looking for harmony and understanding between Riders and Horses

You are regular or occasional riders
You are a beginner or have some experience
You have between 10 and 80 years
You want to go riding with family and share a great experience with your children
You are a Camargue lover and you are looking to discover the wide spaces differently, looking for the opportunity to enter within this exceptional environment

One-week courses

Possibility of morning or afternoon courses

The internships take place only from Monday morning till Friday evening

The equestrian activity is therefore done mostly outdoors to discover new sensations: those of riding and freedom of the great outdoors.

One week course

This offer is unique in the region

Monday to Friday, you will receive at least three hours on horseback and an hour of pedagogy, theory or any other activity related to the horse.

The geographic location is exciting for riders: you will worck in a private estate in the middle of unspoilt nature.

The atmosphere is very different from that of a classical riding school: the rider groups are intentionally limited to six people, this ensures pedagogical effectiveness.

All entrusted horses are from the herd, and each rider will be paired with the horse that suits him best. The camargues saddles are from the best saddlers artisans of the region.

You can also come in "extern" if you live around.

You can come in family and choose parmis our holiday cottages the one who suits you best.

If you come alone you can live in a holiday cottage in the country of very good quality understanding in the floor 3 chambers in 2 beds (a 3rd one on mezzanine), shower-room in each of them (washbasin, shower, toilets). On the ground floor, the big stay with fireplace, kitchen on the arrangement (wash dishes, washing machine).

This holiday cottage is to be shared with other trainees; the meals are to be together organized (the young people under age 18 not accompanied share the table of the family by participating in the life of the house).

The accommodated adults can live from Saturday till Saturday in the holiday cottage.

If you do not wish to ride all day long you can choose to make 1 half internship by rising only half a day, in the morning or after noon.

What guides the teaching in the Domain of Quatret, it is the search for the autonomy so that the riders can move in a herd and realize the tasks of the herdsman.

It is before any a working riding that have a practice the herdsmen of wild cattle of this region. We find it nowhere else.

It is officially recognized by the French Federation of Riding today.

It is a way of rising more free, where you will learn to lead your horse of a single hand, safer, thanks to the comfortable hollow saddle of the herdsman, and which aims at giving a maximum of autonomy to the horse.

Riding of the big spaces, it will make you discover new pleasures and new sensations.

The hollow saddles which you will use guarantee comfort and safety(security).

Originally, they are "working saddles: the herdsmen guarded the herds of bulls of horses and bulls on horseback all day long, they thus needed safe and comfortable saddles.



Today, these characteristics make the happiness of the beginners, that they are young or grown-up. The saddles of Domain of Quatret result from the best craftsmen of the region. Those who know how to ally modernity and tradition in their manufacturing.

All the horses which you will go(take) up arise from the breeding of the Domain of Quatret.


Horses are born and live in the swamp. This free life and in herd of bulls makes them very well-balanced.

Before the breaking-in and the training(formation) (which(who) begins in three years), the foals make some small stays near the Domain to be socialized, used to the man and trained(formed) smoothly.
For a long time, the search(research) for a good character was one of essential criteria of the selection of the horse farm(breeding) the Camargue of the Domain of Quatret.


The knowledge of the origins and the families as well in the past which today allow to confide(entrust) to each the most respectful and best adapted horse of the rider.

Patience, observation, respect are the success factors of this breeding and the training.
