Learn more about the ethological approach

Riding says "ethology" is based on the practical applications of ethology, the science of animal behavior.

This is to adopt a mode of communication with the horse to educate, to teach him things, in language that makes sense to him, a more natural language for the horse and he understands.

It is also to understand its mode of learning and motivation.

And it is often found that our working methods are naturally very far! Even realize that there are other ways to function as human and have a real sense!

The "whisperers" who popularized the ethological approach, were named this because aid (instructions) they use so low that they become invisible or happen "tools" classics (jaw, etc .. .). Now they are rather called "new masters", compared with the squires of classical riding, the "old masters".

For decades, we observe the riders and their way of being with horses. Giving pride of place to respect for the horse, we are open to all practices taking this respect into consideration, regardless of the master or the country. We try to retain "the best", which seems the most appropriate and meets our expectations, always with a success target both competitive point on the behavioral and moral point. That is to say, we seek to educate horses exploiting their physical best while maintaining their psychological integrity: horses well in body and well in their head.

A parallel work of the rider (or educator) is essential for the couple works in harmony and that the results are satisfactory.

Every horse and every rider is different there is no "magic formula"; Time, observation, curiosity and understanding must remain the watchwords in every new encounter. Embark on the adventure!
